    A note from Ms. Vanessa McGhee:
    I'm SUPER EXCITED to serve as a counselor here at Oakland Elementary. I have been in the field of education since 1993. I was a classroom teacher for a total of 14 1/2 years. I taught grades 5-8 in the states of Louisiana and Georgia. I began serving as a school counselor in 2008. I primarily work with students in grades 3-5 here at Oakland.  Please feel free to contact me whenever you need. I'm always available.     I'm so excited to serve as your counselor this school year with students primarily in grades PK-2. I have been in education since 1994 all in Georgia.
