Mrs. Bright

    Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am pleased to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you and welcome your child to my class!  My name is Sabrina Bright and I will be your child’s fifth grade teacher for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.  This is my 23rd year as an educator and my 1st year at Wesley Lakes Elementary School.

I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern University at New Orleans, Master's in Instruction from Central Michigan University and Educational Specialist in Instructional Leadership for Argosy University of Atlanta. Additionally, I am gifted certified.

Good behavior is very important and is crucial to helping your child reach his/her full potential.   It allows students to focus on the lessons at hand and to gain the necessary knowledge needed to be successful. Class Dojo is used to keep you informed of your child's behavior daily.  If you have not signed up, please do so or email me at Sabrina.Bright@henry.k12.ga.us and I will resend you the ClassDojo code.

I believe a good learning experience is built on a cooperative effort between parent, child, and teacher.  My expectations for conduct and standards for academic growth are high.  With your participation in and out of the classroom we can look forward to a productive, creative and fun year together!  I am excited about this new school year!  I hope we can work together to make it one of growth, discovery and significance for your child.

    Sabrina Bright, Ed.S.
