I am Aruna Kocherlakota, SID/PID teacher at ELMS. I am happily married and a proud mother of two children, a daughter and a son. My daughter is a software engineer and married. My son is a Ph.D student. I have been teaching in Special education setting as a special educator since 2004 in different school systems in Georgia, USA. I have a bachelor’s degree in special education as well as Master's degree in Psychology and both of these degrees helped me understand my students' strengths and needs that are unique from child to child. Out of my interest, I did early childhood education diploma from Stratford Career Institute, USA since I was dealing with 3 to 7 yrs. age group children in my initial career years. I also have a highly qualified teaching certificate from GAPSC. I can proudly say that all of my students are greatly benefiting from my various educational exposures. 

         I am looking forward to work with you and your child this year along with my paraprofessional Ms. Donna Johnson. We are gladly welcoming you to this great school year. I would like your active participation and support throughout the year so that we can be on same page and make this journey successful.
