Hi!  I'm Mrs. King!

     Hello students and parents! You are now a member of my family!  I am so excited to be teaching your child at Impact Accademy this year!  I began teaching in 1992 and I still love every minute! I recieved my Early Childhood Educational degree from Georgia Southern University, my Masters in Educational Leadership from Walden University, and recieved my Middle School certification. My goal to have all my students leave my classroom ready for the third grade, with a love for learning and a strong self-esteem. Welcome to the second grade!

     We will learn many new and exciting things this year.   The soloar sytem, telling time, our beautiful state, text evidence, how to write cool stories are just a few of the things we will learn this year.  I love teaching all subjects, but Social Studies is my FAV.  We will be using technology  and a lot of  "old school" teaching methods.  Making my class interesting and exciting is very important to me.  My classroom will incorproate different learning styles so all my students will enjoy learning. Please don't hesitate to share with me if you want to try something new.   Creative ideas are always welcome. 

  I love Winie the Pooh and binging on a good TV show.  I am happily married to the wonderful Mr. King.  I have two amazing children; Dawson 19 and Tristan 24.  We have a cat named George, a cat named Paws, a dog named Abbie and ofcourse my new family...You!  Now, lets get to class and start our learning!
