About Me

Hello!  I am so excited to be on your team this year, and I can't wait to help you become the BEST writer you can be.  I am a graduate of Point University with a bachelors in Secondary ELA.  I graduated high school from Woodland (#packpride).  My favorite things to do are reading, watching Netflix, and TEACHING!  I have one kid, a dog, named Vashti.  This year is going to be awesome, and I hope that you're just as excited as I am.

Cell Phone Policy

Phones in my class should be powered off and placed either in the "Phone Daycare" on the board, or in the student's bag until the bell rings at the end of the period. If a student chooses to keep thier phone at thier desk and it becomes a distraction to the student or to others, the phone will be collected per Woodland High School policy.  Headphones should be put away as soon as the student enters my room.  When phone usage will be allowed, I will let you know.
