With the school district being closed beginning March 16, 2020, if you need to contact me, please do so via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or via dojo. I will be available during normal school hours for questions or concerns. During the week, I will be scheduling times to do google meetings for mini-lessons and assignments. I will send the link to log in to your email, and let you know in advance when the meetings will occur. In addition, I will post several resources for the students on my web page. Please let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to help any way I can.
Students should have received a math workbook today and a packet with documents to work on while the district is closed. I will be grading assignments weekly; please email the completed graded assignment to me, by Friday. Grades will be updated on Mondays. We will continue using the packets that were provided first to the students. We will finish that packet this week, and after spring break we will begin working on the district provided packet.
The curriculum schedule:
Monday, Wednesday: Reading, Writing, Art, and Math
Tuesday, Thursday: Science, Social Studies, PE, and Music.

In order to view the Google Meet Videos you will need to log into Google Classroom with your student. Please see the Google Classroom Link for additional support.
On Monday and Thursday at 10am, I will be hosting the google meet (meetings) for face to face check ins and mini-lessons on the material. The link to join the email will be sent prior to the meeting starting. However, if your student needs additional support with any thing, please let me know. I am happy to schedule individual meetings as needed. I will also be posting videos of material that can be additional help (mini lessons for the curriculum this week).
This week we will be working on the following items:
Reading: We will work on the remaining passages in the packet. (The graded assignment is What Plants Need)
Math: Collecting and Analyzing Data (the graded assignment is the paper labeled The Favorite Animal Graph, again, please email this to me)
Science: Basic Needs of an Animal/Basic Needs of a Plant (the graded assignment is the What We Need (Plants and Animals), please email (: )
Social Studies: Goods and Services (the graded assignment is the paper for the Goods and Services that has a little boy with a garbage can, again.... please email to me :))

Additional Math Work can be found on the workbook pages 133-136 and pages 147-150
Some of the material in the packet is meant to be cut and glued, however, if you do not have scissors or glue, the students can write or draw lines to the correct location. If you have any questions please let me know.
