*Connections - Boyd, Caitlin - Chorus/Drama

Welcome to my LMS page! I hope you are excited about this new adventure of Remote Learning! Remote learning occurs when the learner and instructor, or source of information, are separated by time and distance and therefore cannot meet in a traditional classroom setting. However, remote learning days are STILL days of education. Your assignments will be posted at the beginning of each week via Google Classroom and will be due on Fridays by 4pm. I encourage everyone to use their time wisely as the day can slip away. Please continue reading below for your particular class and to receive your class code.

There has been an update for Office hours. Please be advised that office hours are now Monday-Thursday. The times have also changed. I will only address Chorus students via Google Meets on Mondays and Wednesdays (if needed). Theater Arts questions will be addressed Tuesdays and Thursdays (if needed). Also note that, while Google Meet sessions are optional, I encourage you to attend if you have any confusion or questions on assignments. Google Meet sessions give you the opportunity to ask live questions and get assistance quickly versus waiting for an email/Google Classroom response.  The Google Meet link is posted below.

Your day of instruction falls on Mondays. If you need additional support, I will be available to you on Wednesdays. You will have assignments that focus on music theory that will come from www.musictheory.net, sight-reading examples (please inform if the site does not work), as well as listening/reflection assignments.

Theatre Arts (Term 4 ONLY)

Your day of instruction falls on Tuesdays. If you need additional support, I will be available to you on Thursdays. During your study, you will be learning about the art of pantomime, improvisation, Renaissance, etc. While you will not have class on Mondays, your assignments will still be posted then and due Friday.
