My name is Amanda Rutledge and this is my fourth year at Cotton Indian Elementary. I absolutely love teaching and I couldn't see myself doing anything else. I believe that every student brings individual strengths into the classroom and I can't wait to discover each of my students unique talents!
I have lived in Henry County most of my life and I graduated from Henry County High School. I am a graduate of Gordon State College with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood/Special Education. Besides a degree in education, I have an Associates of Art degree in Fashion Design.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two teenagers and our rambunctious dog! I am blessed to be married to my best friend, Adam. My oldest son, Cameron, just graduated high school. My youngest, Caige, is in the 11th grade. We adopted our doggie, Rambo, last year. As a family we love to travel and play board games.
One of my favorite habits is to "SHARPEN THE SAW". I sharpen the saw by crafting, traveling, cooking, and reading. Traveling is my passion and it is my dream to visit all 50 states! I collect globes and I love quotes. Another passion of mine is cooking and trying new recipes, but I hate doing the dishes!
