    I am elated to welcome you to this 2020-21 school year at Dutchtown Middle. I love teaching and I am looking forward to getting to know your child. Communication is a very important factor in the learning process in the education of your child. The purpose of Language Arts is to teach students how to communicate through the written word. In this school session, we will focus on different styles of writing. We will focus on Constructed response. The next step in writing is the Argumentative Response, the Extended Response, and the Extended Constructed Response. Parents please encourage your child to read books and magazines daily.
