I attended the Women's College at Brenau University in Gainesville, GA and became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. through the Tau Eta chapter in 2014. I graduated from Brenau in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science. In 2019, I completed my Master of Arts in teaching degree at Mercer University. I am also currently working towards my specialist degree.This is my 4th year teaching and my 4th year at Dutchtown Middle. I taught 7th grade social studies for 3 years and I am excited to move up to 8th grade this year. I love to read and watch television.Philosophy on Learning:I love learning and I love education. 8th grade is a time for learning yourselves and how you fit best into the world. My expectation is that you use your 8th grade year to the fullest. This means being enthusiastic about learning, trying your hardest, and keeping your education the priority.
