I graduated from Brenau in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science. In 2019, I completed my Master of Arts in teaching degree at Mercer University. I will graduate with my Education Specialist degree from Augusta University in December 2021.This is my 5th year teaching and my 5th year at Dutchtown Middle. I taught 7th grade social studies for 3 years and I am now excited to teach my favorite middle school social studies course-- 8th grade Georgia Studies. I love to read and watch television.

    Classroom Culture/Expectations:

8th grade is a time for learning yourselves and how you fit best into the world. My expectation is that you use your 8th grade year to the fullest. This means being enthusiastic about learning, trying your hardest, and keeping your education the priority.

*All students are expected to perform and exhibit maturity and responsibility.*

Students will be constantly reminded of our classroom expectations, please help in reminding students to always act with maturity and respect. Expectations are always high, for ALL students!!!
