8th grade ELA will be hosting tutorial sessions each week on Tuesday from 7:45-8:15 am starting on September 2nd. The sessions and standards covered will be determined by assessment data. If students plan to attend tutorial outside of this particular day and time, a pass must signed in their agenda books prior to the scheduled tutorial session, and it’s the child’s responsibility to obtain that pass.

Welcome Students and Parent(s)/ Guardian(s),
I truly hope that this past summer has created many memories and that you are ready to continue to fun in my Language Arts class. Just a little about me: I'm from a small town in South Georgia called Thomasville, so I'm a southern girl. I have always had a passion for teaching, and I absolutely love making a difference in the lives of our future. I completed my undergraduate degree at Valdosta State University in Middle Grades Education. Later, I went back to school in order to earn my Master's Degree, which was also earned from Valdosta State University. Currently, I'm working on my Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction with Kennesaw State University.
I'm claiming that this year will be nothing less than awesome, and I look forward to working and communicating with each and every one of you! Click HERE for the syllabus.
