    • Congrats Eagle's Landing High School for a 5.6 point increase in graduation rate from 80.2 to 85.8!!!  This is our 5th consecutive graduation rate increase since the new system for measuring graduation cohort was implemented.  Great job students, faculty, staff, parents and community.
    • Congrats to the Eagle's Landing High School Marching Band.  Color Guard, Drum Majors, and Band all received Superiors at the Peach State Marching Festival.
    • Congrats to the following students for making the 2016 District Honor Chorus: Dionne Campbell, Jehanna Jacobs, Shiven Patel,Walker Jordan, Chris Cook, Ebany Russell, Nadia Rideout, Raichele Dennis and Thomas Chappell.
    • Congrats One-Act Play for winning the Region Best Set Award as well as Kristi Dunlap being named to the All-Star Region Cast.

    • Congrats to the ELHS NJROTC; named a 2016 Distinguished Unit with Honors.  This is the 6th consecutive year they have been designated as a Distinguished Unit.
    • Eagle's Landing High School is honored to be named to the 2016 America's Most Challenging Schools by the Washington Post.  This is our 6th consecutive year earning this honor.  We are also listed as the highest ranked school in Henry County.  Our rank is up 36 places from last year and our Ratio is up .343 (significant).
    • Congrats Eagle's Landing High School Band.  Straight Superiors at the Orlando Competition and the highest score regardless of class.  2016 Grand Champions!
    • Congrats Paola Arce-Villa and Ana Castillo for 1st places at the Henry County World Language Fair in French 2 Vocab and French 2 Poetry respectively.
    • Congrats to the Eagle's Landing High School Symphonic Winds, Concert Winds and Orchestra for receiving straight Superior ratings at LGPE.
    • Congrats to Garrett Fuller and Raj Patel for their 1st place at the Science Olympiad in the Write It Do It category.
    • Congrats Mock Trial 2016 Region Champs!  On to Districts.  Back to Back to Back to Back to Back to Back (since 2011).
    • Congrats to Barquisha Madison, Anique Roberts and Kalan Bell for advancing to the Regionals of the National  History Day Competition
    • Congrats to our Science Fair Winners.  1st places went to: Jordan Atkinson, Andrea Augustine, Auntares Jackson, Ishani Rao, Rachel Mittal,  Charmie Modi, Chloe Osbourne and Kacey King.
    • Thank you to those that joined us for our evening School Council Meeting on January 26th.  We had an engaged group of parents that were treated to a presentation on Eagle's Landing High School's journey to be a 21st Century Skills School (with focus on Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication and Collaboration).  We will hold a morning meeting on February 23rd at 7:30AM. Our next evening meeting will be at 7:00 PM on March 29th in the Media Center.
    • Eagle's Landing High School will be holding our 10th annual Multicultural Month Read-In on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 3:30-4:30 in the Media Center.  Stop by to join us, celebrate and read a book by a Multicultural author.
    • Congrats to Andrea Augustine for placing 1st in Public Speaking II and Business Communications at the FBLA Leadership Conference.
    • Congrats to Semiah Bowden for placing 1st in the Hotel and Lodging Management Category at the Region 7 DECA Competition.
    • Congrats to LaErica Smith and Chioma Ezumezu for making All State Band.  This is an honor given to the top 1% of All State Band applicants in the State.  Well done!
    • Congrats Ariana Peoples for placing first in the High School division of the Martin Luther King Jr. Essay Contest for the Atlanta Food Bank.
    • We had another amazing year in 2015 as a 4 time AP Honor School (Access and Support, STEM, STEM Achievement & Humanities), an NJROTC Distinguished School, an America's Most Challenging School (Washington Post), a Region Director's Cup Winner, Region Champs in Mock Trial, Track, CC, Tennis, Grand Champions of the Dixie Marching Classic for Symphonic Winds, Superiors for Band at Festival and Competition, a Division 1 Championship for Math Team, a third straight increase for Graduation Rate and CCRPI & countless other individual awards for our students from GHP, to Science and Social Studies Fair, to CTAE Competitions, to the State Superintendent's Student Advisory Council. We cannot wait to see what our students do in 2016.
    • Congratulations to Andrea Augustine.  She was selected to represent Eagle's Landing High School on the State Superintendent's Student Advisory Council.  Andrea is the only Henry County high school student to receive this honor in 2015-16, and one of 110 from the State of Georgia.

    • Great News!  Eagle's Landing High School has been named a 2015 A.P. Honor School by the Georgia Department of Education.  This is Eagle's Landing High School's 8th consecutive year with this designation.  We are one a of handful of schools in the state with 4 separate recognitions:
