Mr. Martin Gore, Principal
Mr. Martin Gore is committed to serving the students and families of the Hampton Community and he is committed to making learning personalized for each individual child. Prior to his appointment as Principal of Hampton High School in June of 2016, Mr. Gore served as Principal of Mt. Carmel Elementary School, one of the three feeder elementary schools in the Hampton Cluster, for nine years.
Prior to his time at Mt. Carmel, Mr. Gore was an Assistant Principal at Pate’s Creek Elementary School, a Special Education teacher at Unity Grove Elementary school (EBD), a Special Education teacher at Union Grove Middle School and Jonesboro Middle School, and a 6-12 teacher for the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice at an area RYDC.
Mr. Gore earned his B.A. in Education from Troy State University. He also holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of South Alabama.
Mr. Martin Gore is married to Mrs. Natalie Gore and has three children, Joshua, Andrew, and Elizabeth. Currently, Joshua and Andrew attend college, and Elizabeth attends her homeschool of Union Grove High School.
In his free time, Mr. Gore enjoys spending time with his family, taking on home renovation projects, and watching college football. Mr. Gore is an avid University of Alabama fan, such that his family dog is named Allie Bama Gore in honor of his favorite team.
