I would like to welcome you to the 2019-2020 school year! Teaching has been an unconditional passion of mine! I’m excited about the opportunity to get to know you and your child, and I’m looking forward to a happy and productive school year. I believe in constructing good, healthy, and long lasting relationships with my students, as well as their parents.
Just to tell you a little about myself, I am a native of Atlanta, GA who is a diehard Falcons Fan. I have been teaching since 2016. I have one son. I graduated from Clayton State University with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Education Specialties. I am in pursuit of my masters at Walden University in a Master of Art in Teaching in the area of Special Education.
My philosophy is that all learners are unique in their own way, and it is important for them to express their individuality. If learning is fun and engaging, nothing is impossible for learners. Furthermore, with motivation and confidence, learners can face any academic challenge, push forward, and strive for success. We all have the ability to be curious, to question, to investigate, to think critically, and to problem solve in our own unique ways.
