•  Welcome To The Law and Justice Pathway

I am excited to have your child in my class for the 2021-2022 school year. The Public Safety - Criminal Justice - Forensic Science Pathway at Ola High consists of three classes over a three year period. The course culminates with students completing the End of Pathway Assessment in the spring of year three for those students that complete all three years.

The three courses by year are:

    • Year One “Introduction to Public Safety”

    • Year Two “Essentials of Criminal Justice”Badge

    • Year Three “Criminal Justice / Forensic Science”

Students in these courses, like all other CTAE Classes at Ola High School have higher expectations placed upon them regarding their behavior, work ethic and personal responsibility.  To develop employability skills and strong professional work ethics, students in these classes will be trained and treated just as law enforcement and forensic criminal specialists are treated at state and federal training academies across the United States.  Successful completion of each class requires students to complete hands on practical exercises, work in teams and small groups, complete labs and investigations outdoors and deliver presentations in front of other students and the instructor. Parents are always welcome to contact me if you any questions or concerns.

    Parent-Teacher Conference Days - Fall 2021

Dear Families of Henry County Schools:

As part of their on-going commitment to building and maintaining strong home-school partnerships, the Henry County Schools Board of Education approved 3 early release days for Parent-Teacher Conferences. These conferences provide an opportunity to engage with your child’s teacher(s) and to discuss your child’s strengths, current progress, recent assessment data, and any areas of concern. Your input plays an important role in how we support your student and we hope that you will take this opportunity to join us in our pursuit of exceptional growth and performance of your child.
