  • The Art of Hope

During this time of uncertainty, it is important that students develop a sense of hope. Expressions of hope through the arts is a great way to allow students to process their feelings and emotions about our current state of events and positively reframe their feelings to that of hope. To provide a platform for this to occur, we are encouraging students to express their feelings through the creation and submission of art to showcase in a digital exhibition

Students are encouraged to create works of art to express their feelings of hope during this time of social distancing and unrest. Students may produce art in the following forms:

    · Visual Art: original or replications of paintings, drawings, sculptures, etc.

    · Music: an original, remake or an arrangement of a vocal or instrumental piece (2 minute maximum)

    · Theatre: a monologue, poem recitations, or a skit, etc.

    · Dance: a choreographed performance (2 min. max)

Credit to the author, artist, or originator of work must be cited if not original.

    · Artistically, visually, aesthetically and appealing

    · Connected to the theme: The Art of Hope

    · Appropriate for public viewing/listening

    · No offensive lyrics, props or attire

    Submission Process:

Students will submit their work via Google Forms using the link provided by their teacher.

    Google Form Link:

Submission will be reviewed prior to being posted for public viewing.

The art will be reviewed and displayed on a public Google website for viewing. Submissions will be uploaded upon review.
