Ms. Gemmill
Hello! I'm the Art Teacher at Eagle's Landing High School! My last name sometimes trips people up, so you may call me Ms 'G.' I have been teaching visual art for 10 years; the 20-21 school year will be my 5th at Eagles Landing! My passion for teaching is driven by helping students explore and express their ideas through artistic representation. I believe that we never stop learning, and I love sharing my curiosity and knowledge of art and the world with my students. In addition to teaching, I design and create my own silver jewelry and paint realistic animal portraits through my home art business Rosalia Studio. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, cooking, and playing video games. I am also an avid amateur equestrian in the discipline of Dressage. Although I teach art, I am also passionate about the connection between art, science and nature; I have a collection of beetle specimens and orchids that I often bring in to class for inspiration. My goal is to instill each and every one of my students with passion, curiosity, and a drive to find creative and unusual solutions to problems. I look forward to guiding the next group of students towards their artisitic potential!
