Welcome to Mrs. Holloway’s Showcase of Learning!
Welcome to the 2016-2017 School year! I am excited and looking forward to the awesome learning experiences that this year will bring. I am new to Mount Carmel, but not to teaching. This is my 11th year as an educator, a profession in which I cherish and value as one of great importance. I am a native of Henry County, graduating from Henry County High School. I am married with 2 sons. I did my undergraduate studies at Mercer University and graduate studies at Grand Canyon University. Currently, I am enrolled in an Educational Leadership program at Columbus State University.
Your child’s success is of the utmost importance to me. I still believe in the village of collaboration it takes to ensure this success. You, as the parent, have the opportunity to share in this collaboration by ensuring that your child is present and on time for school, comes prepared, does his or her homework, classwork, projects and understands the importance of putting forth their best effort every day.
We will have multiple opportunities for growth this year. It will take determination, dedication, and commitment to our vision of personalizing learning through acceleration, collaboration, and engagement while developing 21st century learners who are college, career, and life ready. It is my ultimate goal to provide instruction that is rigorous and relevant with the potential to build our relationship as supporters of your child’s future.
For any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me via school phone (770-897-9806) or firstname.lastname@example.org. Once again, I look forward to wonderful working relationship and a SUPER year of learning!
