Hi! My name is Kayse McCanne. I am a native of Stockbridge, Georgia with a Master’s of Education degree in Professional School Counseling from Georgia State University. I also hold a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Counseling and Human Services from Atlanta Christian College.

Over the past sixteen years, I have worked and volunteered in a variety of settings serving youth and families. I have served as a school counselor, parent liaison, and paraprofessional in Henry County, as well as serving as a youth pastor and camp director for middle and high school teens alongside my husband, Joseph. I am also the founder of a local non-profit organization called Bridgeway Youth Program Specialists which provides high quality programs and conferences to schooIs and churches in the metro-Atlanta area. Two of our signature programs are the Fine China Conference for girls and the Elevate Conference for boys. Both programs seek to empower students to make healthy choices and to encourage stronger bonds between students and parents. Each fall, I also run Camp Bridgeway during the Henry County Fall Break.

I am so grateful to be part of the Impact family! I look forward to meeting you and your student this year. Please feel free to stop by the counseling office any time and introduce yourself! It’s going to be a great year!

Hello everyone!  Let me introduce myself.  I have a Bachelor's Degree and Masters Degree in Mathematics Education from Georgia State University.  I have a Masters Degree and Specialist Degree in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama (I was an online student, too!). I am in my 24th year of education this year.  I taught every grade of math from 6th grade to 12th for 11 years.  I taught regular education for 9 years and exceptional education for 2 years.  I have also taught Reading and Yearbook.  This is my 13th year as a counselor.

Outside of school, I enjoy pursuing other passions.  I am the author of two published children's books, I am a real estate agent, and I am building a farm wedding venue in Milner, GA.  You can be anything and everything you want to be when you grow up!  Let me know about your dreams and we'll talk about how you can reach them.

I love working at Impact Academy!  The staff, students, and families are wonderful!  I look forward to developing parent and student guidance opportunities for you this year.  We hope that you will be highly involved at both Impact Academy and your zoned school. Make the most of these years and don't miss out on wonderful things affecting you now and affecting your future.  Have a great year and let us know how we can help your student.
