Dear Faulty, Staff and Students of Ola High School,

Greetings Mustang Nation, This is Mr. Ellis, Principal of Ola High School. I hope everyone is having a restful and relaxing summer. I want to take a moment to reach out to the students and families of our great community to express how excited I am to have the opportunity to lead our great school in Henry County. Ola High School truly is the best place to learn, live and work.

The love and passion I have for our school, kids, and community runs deep, and I will work to show it each and every day. We will be committed to serving our students and community in ensuring the highest quality education and providing our students with exceptional opportunities to learn, grow, and achieve their goals.

When I started my career in education, I committed to ensuring all students were loved and felt they were valued. I want each of our Mustangs to know I care for them and want the very best for their futures. This year, our work will be built on a theme of reconnecting with relationships and rigor. As the leader of our staff, we work daily to ensure our Mustangs know that Ola is their home, and we will support them in their journey to be equipped for life after high school. This is a commitment I make each day, and I find joy in serving the very best students, staff, and community in all of Henry County.

I want to thank Mr. Shedd for his outstanding leadership and the contributions made to each student at Ola High School. I want to thank our superintendent, Dr. Mary Elizabeth Davis, and the Henry County Board of Education for their support as we begin an exciting school year and welcome all of our students back. Ola High School cannot wait to reconnect with our students and families, and I look forward to the many opportunities to meet each of you!

Parents, while I have this opportunity to communicate with you and begin to start the new school year, please visit our website and click on the Be Ready for Day One link on the left side of the page.

Until next time, always remember We Are Ola!
