Teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning.

My name is Monique Greer. I am originally from South Carolina, but I have lived in Georgia for 23 years. I am married with two children, and I have been teaching in Henry County for 20 years. I have taught in grades ranging from 2nd to 7th, so I am certified in both elementary and middle grades education, and of course, I have also obtained my gifted endorsement. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English, a Master’s Degree in Middle Grades Education, and a Specialist Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision.

I am so excited to be one of the Gifted Support Teachers here at Bethlehem! I understand that it is my job to help gifted learners to better develop their natural academic and creative talents while exploring their passions for learning.   In the gifted program, students will be challenged with fun and engaging activities that will help them to build the 21st Century Skills that are essential in today’s world. We will complete project based learning tasks that will enhance critical and divergent thinking skills. We will also use advanced problem solving methods to grapple through challenging situations, all while sparking curiosities and utilizing higher order thinking skills.

I am committed to helping students to understand: We never believe we can’t…we always believe we CAN find another way. I look forward to working with all of my students this year.  I am so excited about making all of our encounters meaningful learning experiences!
