         Hi, I'm Amanda Okrutny.  This is my 23rd year teaching in Henry County.  I attended Auburn University where I studied public relations and political science. I graduated from Florida State University in 1998 with a Bachelors in Social Science Education and I have a masters in Leadership and Curriculum from Georgia State University. I am married and have 2 busy daughters.  I absolutely love to travel, read and all things historical.  I am very excited to be at Union Grove this year and cannot wait to share my love of hsitory with my students!
