• Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year. Hello, my name is Lisa Schneller!. This will be my 27th year in education, and my 18th year in the gifted department. I am a graduate of Auburn University, B.S. Ed.  (War Eagle!) and we love to go to football games (we love SEC football). My Masters in Education, M.Ed., is from Piedmont College and I have received my Gifted/Torrance certifications through the University of Georgia. I also just recently completed my math endorsement.
I have a wonderful husband and we have been married almost 24 years. We also have two daughters. My oldest graduated from Georgia Southern University in May, 2020. She also began her doctoral in physical therapy program in May at Brenau University. Our youngest daughter is a junior at Georgia Southern University studying early childhood education.
We love animals and have two pups: Paisley and Gracie and 6 goats: Milly, Willy, Billy, Gilly, Tilly and Dilly. Goats are so much fun!

We have made our church home at Turning Point and we enjoy spending time with our family of choice and serving others.
Some of my favorite things to do: be active in church, learn new things, take care of our baby goats, travel, DIY projects, and spending time with family and friends.

I am a mom of two gifted girls so I can certainly relate with my students at school (and of course their parents)... socially, emotionally and academically. One daughter is a perfectionist, overachiever, teacher pleaser and has had her share of meltdowns when something is difficult for her.
The other one is the polar opposite, happy go lucky, friendly, compassionate, doesn't work to her full potenital (frustrating as a parent),and problem solver. Each child is unique and has their own personal  struggles and as a teacher, I want to be sure to try and best meet each student's needs.
Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.
