ELA Study Guide for the Year
To help with your vocabulary tree, example of
English Language Arts (or ELA) class is where your child will take part in reading, writing, listening, speaking, and viewing activities. The goal for the P.E.A.R.L.S is to not only become readers and writers, and to meet standard on district and state assessments, but more importantly to develop a love of reading and writing. Lessons are structured so that all students are talking about books, writing about books, and exploring their world and other world's through good adolescent literature.
