    Greetings Ola-Verse!

We are so excited to start the 2021 school year. I went into education 13 years ago with the belief in this: “GIVE a man a fish, feed him only for a day. TEACH a man to fish, feed him for life.” I believe that all students can do whatever they apply themselves toward and can achieve greatness through hard work, commitment and follow through. When I was playing college football, our coach gave us a wrist band that had W.I.N on it. To win was the ultimate goal, however each letter had a meaning: W. (What’s) I. (Important) N. (Now)…it was a way to prioritize the hard word, dedication and commitment needed to achieve the ultimate goal of winning.

I believe all students can WIN in whatever they choose to compete in, whether it be in the classroom, on the field/court, and in their life. They just need to commit themselves, work hard and to follow through to ensure their success. Each day all our staff, teachers and administrators make a commitment to working hard and following through for the success of our students. I look forward to this next school year and cannot wait to celebrate all the success we will have.

This is my 7th year as an administrator at Ola High School and 13th year in education. Prior to coming to Ola, I served as the Athletic Director at Union Grove High School. I started my teaching career at Luella High School where I taught social studies and coached football, volleyball and soccer. My family and I reside in Jackson, GA.
