Personal Educational Philosophy

My students and I learn from each other daily; therefore, learning is a continual process. Students work collaboratively to achieve their goals, and I respond to my student’s personal needs. My classroom climate is conductive to learning; thus, I possess strong classroom management skills. I emphasize basic skills, higher-level thinking skills, and academic subjects, and I relate real-world situations to learning. All students are special, and they can master skills to succeed in school. I encourage self-directed learning so that my students can become independent learners. I devote leadership to good instructional practice and learning; thus, I prepare my students for future leaders of tomorrow.
