Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year!

My name is Cristy Morrill, and I am extremely excited to start another school year at Cotton Indian Elementary School! I am the Behavior Lead Teacher for the entire school. My experience stems from 15 years of teaching in various settings, including the co-taught classroom, resource classroom, self-contained Emotional/Behavior setting, and separate school for Emotional/Behavior Disorders. I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in the area of Special Education from Georgia Southwestern State University. I will be visiting all classrooms to assist teachers and students with the social skill curriculum and the daiy implementation of mindfulness. I will also serve on the school's MTSS committee and assisting with implementing academic and behavior interventions. Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have any concerns, questions, etc. My email is cristy.morrill@henry.k12.ga.us .

I also have an emotional support dog that comes to work with me every day. Her name is Amari, and she looks forward to spending each day with the students. Follow Amari on Instagram @cieamari.

Thank You for entrusting your child with us!
