Thank you for visiting the Red Oak Elementary School webpage!

My name is Vincent Ervin and I am excited to join the Red Oak Elementary family as your next assistant principal. I am looking forward to the opportunity to serve the students, staff and community of Red Oak Elementary. I look forward to exciting opportunities and building positive relationships with students, teachers and the community of Red Oak Elementary.

I attended Georgia Southern University earning a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Middle Grades Education. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Middle Grades Education from Fort Valley State University and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Troy State University.

I began my journey in education as a Middle Grades teacher in 1995. Later, I transitioned to an assistant principal position at the Middle School level. For the past 13 years, I have served as an assistant principal at the Elementary School level.

My goal as assistant principal of Red Oak Elementary is to provide leadership that will facilitate a positive connection between families and schools as well as to provide the necessary skills for students to become productive citizens in a global society. I believe that teachers, parents and students share the important responsibility of guiding, nurturing and encouraging our children to become engaged and active learners. Children enter school from different backgrounds and with various life experiences that make each student unique. Educators are tasked with meeting students at their level and providing quality and engaging instruction to reach his or her potential.

I look forward to serving as your assistant principal. Should you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me via phone, email or conference. My door is always open.

I look forward to meeting you!

    Vincent Ervin
