Welcome to Kindergarten!  I love teaching, and am blessed to be part of the Walnut Creek family.  This is my 24th year teaching, and I am still as excited about teaching as I was the first day I began my career in Louisiana. I have a Bachelor's degree from Louisiana Tech University in Early Childhood Education, and have begun my Master's program in Administration and Supervision at Liberty University. Last year, I had the distinct and humbling honor to serve as Walnut Creek's Teacher of the Year.  I currently hold certificates for both math and gifted endorsements.

Ms. Lyons and Ms. Head are my fabulous paraprofessionals.  These wonderful eductors are passionate about teaching and have a tremendous love and talent for working with children.  We are each deeply committed to the success of your child and are here to partner with you as you formally begin your school journey.

I am married to my best friend, Chuck, and have one son.  Together, we have two loveable dachshunds and one dachsund mix- all rescues, who are the perfect complement to our family.  We enjoy spending our free time with family and/or traveling.
