    The purpose of this course is for the student to study the historical journey of African diasporan descendants from Africa's coast to  present day in the United States. We will cover social, economical, political, cultural developements, and contributions to America. The students will be challenged to improve their ability to gather, analyze, and process data from various resources. Students will also gain more knowledge through the study, use, and interpretation of maps, graphics, statistical data, and projects. Participation is mandatory.
