1. Beach Balls: Write sight words on a beach ball and have your student read the word that touches his/her hand.

2. Hopscotch: Have your student read the sight word each time he/she hops on a square.

3. Jumping Words: Practice movement and rhythm with spelling sight words as you jump!

4. Sand Writing: Write out words in the sand.

5. Water painting: Have your student paint his/her sight words.

6. Flashlight Fun: Write sight words on a sticky note and stick them throughout the house or in one area; have your student flash the light on the word you read aloud.

7. Magnifying Words: Say a word and have your student find the word using a magnifying glass in books, newspapers, magazines, etc.

8. Fly Swatting: Lay out the sight words on a table; have your student swat the sight words as you read them aloud.
