Personal Information and My Educational Background  
Greetings parents, students, and community members of Dutchtown High School. I am  Mrs. Tracy Gilner a science teacher at DHS. This is my 20 th  year as an educator.  Currently I am teaching Human Anatomy, Advanced Placement Biology, Honors Biology, and General Biology at DHS. In the previous years I  taught high school science, middle school science and I was a curriculum specialist at the High School level  and Disrtict level  in the State of Alabama prior to moving to Georgia. 
I hold a B. S. in Biology Secondary Education (2002) and a M. S. Degree in Educational Leadership (Curriculum and Supervision) (2004) from Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama. I am a native of Mobile, Alabama and a proud graduate of John L. Leflore Magnet School of Communication and Arts.  
I  am married and we have two daughters Brianna age 21 and MaKayla age 15. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, shopping, reading, and relaxing. I am so excited about teaching at  DHS and I look forward to a very positive and successful academic year.
