Ever since I was a little girl, I have wanted to teach. I can remember setting my stuffed animals into a line to teach them. My father went out and found me a chalkboard, old textbooks, and other teacher supplies. I would go up to my teachers and ask for any copies that they did not use. I loved to learn. As time went on, I ended up teaching my younger siblings. Soon that led to kids in the neighborhood. By the time that I was in High School, I was tutoring students my own age.
I graduated from Mercer University with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education/Special Education. I graduated from Walden University with my Master's Degree in Literacy and Mathematics for Elementary. I am currently working on my Specialist in Instructional Technology at Kennesaw State University. I have taught for over ten years.
I have a variety of interests - technology, reading, crafts, walking/playing with my dogs (Kevin and Jaxon), thrifting, and hanging with my husband, Mr. Drew.
