    My name is Lisa Wright and I am proud to serve as the media specialist at HHS. I was born and raised in the capital city of Jackson, Mississippi. I graduated from Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi, in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in Business Management. In the fall of 1997, I graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi with a master's degree in Library and Information Science with teaching certification. In 2016, I graduated from the University of West Georgia (UWG) with a specialist's degree in Instructional Technology. In 2017, I completed Tier 1 Leadership Certification from UWG. I am currently a second-year doctoral student at Kennesaw State University in Instructional Technology. My first position was on the Mississippi Gulf Coast where I served as the media specialist at Vancleave High School for five years. In 2003, I married and moved to Wilmington, North Carolina, where I served as the media specialist at New Hanover High School for eleven years. In 2014, I relocated with my family to Georgia and joined Hampton High's inaugural faculty. In addition to my duties at HHS, I also serve as an adjunct teacher with Henry County Schools' Impact Academy, where I teach Digital Technology.  
    My husband, Rick, is the media specialist at Starr's Mill High School in Fayette County, and we have two boys, Sean (13) and Bruce (9), as well as a sweet retriever puppy named Ranger.
