A little about me…

Hi, my name is Pamala Heller.  I teach the Entrepreneurship Pathway, which is part of the Business and Management Administration Cluster at Woodland High School. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Brewton-Parker College, my Master’s Degree from Ashford University, and my Education Specialist degree in Instructional Technology at Kennesaw State University.  I have taught business education at Long County High School for the past 10 years.  I am also a veteran who served in the United States Army. After receiving an honorable discharge in February 2013, I decided to relocate to Atlanta, Georgia to start teaching again. I began teaching at Woodland HIghschool in September 2013.This is my 16th year of teaching in Georgia and my 6th year teaching at Woodland High School.  I also serve as the FBLA Advisor for Woodland High.  I am also a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority!  (Blue Love)!

I am the proud mother of two children:  my son Kaleab (25 years old), currently serving in the United States Army and  I also have a daughter named Savannah (13 years old), who has special needs and is currently attending Woodland Middle School in Stockbridge, Georgia.    I also have a 2 year old grandon (Kayden).

My hobbies include traveling, vacationing and spending time with my family.

I am very excited about teaching here at Woodland High School and I am looking forward to another great year!  Go Wolfpack!

My favorite quotes:

The task of the modern educator is not to cut down jungles, but to irrigate deserts.

My mission in  life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.
