Unity Grove’s Olweus Bullying Prevention Program

This research based program helps to create a safe learning environment through prevention. Students learn what bullying is, the many forms it takes, and how to get help when it occurs.  Students and teachers meet in class meetings to discuss bullying and the bullying prevention rules. Students are recognized for following the rules and helping others on a weekly basis.

These are the four school wide Panther Pal Rules:

    1.    We will not bully others.

    2.    We will try to help students who are bullied.

    3.    We will try to be kind and include students who are left out.

    4.    If we know that somebody is being bullied, we will tell an adult at school and an adult at home.
