I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in elementary education. I also earned certification in ESOL at that time. Over the next two years, I worked hard to earn my Gifted Endorsement. After moving to Henry County, my principal chose me to join the Science and Mathematics Institute of Leader Educators. It was a two year venture in which I would learn to help students gain a better understanding of science skills and concepts. This is where I discovered my true passion for teaching science.

Since moving to Dutchtown Middle School, I have served on the DMS Leadership T.E.A.M as both Science Department Chair and as the 8th Grade Curriculum Chair.

The following is a list of schools and grades/ subjects I have taught.

Dutchtown Middle School - Physical Science and Earth Science

Pasadena Lakes Elementary, Florida- Resource math and reading for 2nd-5th grades; 2nd grade- I taught
