3rd Grade - Hall, Darla
-
I'm Darla Hall. I was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, but grew up in a small town northwest of the city. I attended the same school from second grade to graduation. I was fortunate enough to grow up with the same kids all though the school years. We had nineteen students in our graduation class. I lived in Louisiana for a while and really miss the food, there! I moved to Georgia in 1998 and married my husband, Steve. I, still have my mom, two wonderul sisters and a fantastic brother. They are in Oklahoma. I visit them as often as I can but not as often as I want. My mom and dad are no longer with us and I miss them very much. I have many nieces, nephew and great nieces and nephews. My family is very important to me. Of course, I have the wonderful family I gained when I married my husband, as well.
I have a Bashelor's Degree in Education from Langston University in Oklahoma. I recently completed a Math endorsement through Griffin RESA.
I have been teaching since 1991. I have taught in Louisiana, as well, as Georgia. I have been at Oakland since 2000 and have seen a lot of factulty, students and parents walk through those doors. I love this school! It is my home away from home!
I am happy to be here and look forward to working with you and your child this year.
