My name is Michelle Pildner. I taught 3rd grade for twenty-one years, however this is my second year serving as an EIP teacher. I have been at Unity Grove Elementary since it opened. I came from the original McDonough Elementary (now board offices). I graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor's Degree and Troy State University with a Master's Degree. I am currently the Varsity & JV Football/Competition Cheerleading coach, Varsity & JV Basketball Cheerleading coach, and Varsity & JV Gymnastics coach at Locust Grove High School. I have been busy this summer with the cheerleading team, but I have loved it!
I am married to a wonderful man, Billy. My husband and I have been married for 26 years. He is a policeman, fire inspector, and an EMT. He stays very busy at his job in Sandy Springs. We have two beautiful daughters, Bethany and Meagan. Bethany graduated from Piedmont College with an athletic training degree. She works hard as an office manager for a roofing company. She just purchased a new car, so she is officially adulting now. Meagan attends Point University on a softball scholarship. She will be a junior and was just accepted into the education program. She is very athletic and extremely blessed.
I am excited to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with your child this year. I enjoy teaching, coaching, reading Nicholas Sparks' books, stamping, and crafting. I also enjoy going to church and spending time with my family! Please remember that we are a team, and I need your help making sure that your child has a successful year!
