My name is Michelle Pildner. I have been teaching 3rd grade for twenty years, however this is my first year serving as an EIP teacher. I have been at Unity Grove Elementary since it opened. I came from the original McDonough Elementary (now board offices). I graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor's Degree and Troy State University with a Master's Degree. I am currently the Varsity Football/Competition Cheerleading coach, Varsity Basketball Cheerleading coach, and Varsity Gymnastics coach at Locust Grove High School. I have been busy this summer with the cheerleading team, but I have loved it!
I am married to a wonderful man, Billy. My husband and I have been married for 24 years. He is a policeman, fire inspector, and an EMT. He stays very busy. We have two beautiful daughters, Bethany and Meagan. Bethany graduated from Piedmont College with an athletic training degree. She works hard at her job. Meagan just graduated from Locust Grove High top 10% of her class and a state softball champion. She will be attending the University of West Alabama on a softball scholarship. She is very athletic and extremely blessed.
I am excited to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with your child this year. I enjoy teaching, coaching, reading Nicholas Sparks' books, stamping, and crafting. I also enjoy going to church and spending time with my family! Please remember that we are a team, and I need your help making sure that your child has a successful year!
