Luella senior Drew McCullers recently became the first golfer in the school’s history to sign an athletic scholarship. McCullers signed to continue his career at Point University this fall.

McCullers is a four-year starter and the current captain of the golf team. His decision to attend Point came down to his love of the campus.

“I signed with Point because I love the campus,” he said. “It is small, but I like the atmosphere and the people. I also really like the golf program, the coaches and the team. Coach Paine and assistant coach Evan (Smith) are really great and have made the process a lot easier.”
