I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your child to kindergarten. I’m looking forward to a very exciting school year. I know that you have many questions concerning the beginning of a new school year, especiallty since it will begin remotely. TOGETHER we can do this!! Digital Learning Do's and Don'ts:
In order to provide all students with a safe educational climate they deserve, I will be implementing our school wide community agreement behavior plan that will be in effect at all times. All students will be taught and reminded of these expectations throughout their educational experience.
1. Active Listening:
Listen with your ears, eyes, and heart-- stay focused during face to face meeting times
Listen and follow directions 1st time given.
One person talks at a time; others listen. Mute your mic when it's not your turn to talk.
Stay on task. We have a very limited time to meet so we need to make the most of it.
2. Personal Best:
To do one’s best no matter what happens.
Completes all work tasks (home and school)
Respect all school rules (hallway, restroom, lunchroom, playground AND online).
3. Mutual Respect:
Treat others better than the way you want to be treated.
Work quietly. Do not disturb others who are working or talking
4. Appreciations. No Put Downs:
Never use words or actions to hurt another person.
Keep hands and feet to self.
