Bio:
I am a native Atlantan and have lived in Ola since 1993. I am married and all three of my children are graduates of Ola High School. We have a Bichon Frise named Jack Jack and 4 cats we affectionately call our Hobbits. My husband and I enjoy travel, especially weekend trips to Savannah and to the Georgia coast and to the Florida panhandle. In my spare time, I enjoy painting, drawing, playing the piano, singing, playing board games with my family, and going to science fiction and fantasy conventions.
I have taught at Ola Middle School since we opened in 2006. During that time, I have taught social studies, reading, and earth science, but have been teaching ELA since 2009. I am the ELA department chair and serve on the school's leadership team. Before coming to Ola, I taught 4th and 5th grade at McDonough Elementary School.
