"Shoot for the moon.
Even if you miss,
you'll land among the stars."
- Les Brown
Here are some important points to start us off to a terrific year!
I have found when children are given high expectations, they rarely disappoint you or themselves. Therefore, my classroom has clearly defined rules and expectations.
1. Follow directions the first time they are given.
2. Respect the property and feelings of others.
3. Treat others like you would like to be treated.
4. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
Students that consistently meet expectations academically and behaviorally will be rewarded for their hard work. Your child will have the opportunity to earn scholar dollars for displaying positive behavior, acting responsibly, and being a good friend. Likewise, they can lose scholar dollars for inappropriate behavior. They will be able to spend their earnings in our class store.
