The 2020-2021 school year is my fourteenth year at Woodland High School. Here's a little information about me. If you need to contact me throughout the school year, please refer to the e-mail address listed on this page. Thanks for taking a moment to check out Woodland High School and my page. Happy browsing!Q: So you've really been at WHS for 14 years?A: Yes. I have been a member of the Wolfpack since the school opened in the summer of 2007.Q: Fekete. That's a strange last name.A: Not if you speak Hungarian. It's the Hungarian word for "black."Q: Do you speak Hungarian or any other languages?A: Other than a few words of Hungarian, I really do not speak the language. I do speak German. German was one of my majors in college and I have been to Germany about 12 times.Q: Interesting. Have you been anywhere else?A: Have passport, will travel. In addition to Germany, I have been to Austria, Canada, England, Scotland, the Republic of Ireland, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Vatican City, Finland, Poland, and Hungary. The places I haven't been to yet but really want to get to are India and Sweden.Q: Have you ever been on a game show before?A: No I haven't. But I do play trivia a couple times a week with friends and co-workers. In 2017 I was on a team that won $5,000 at a trivia tournament, definitely the highlight of my playing career.Q: Wow. What did you do with the winnings?A: Paid for a flight to Amsterdam.Q: I thought all teachers did was think about school, including on weekends. What else do you like to do?A: I am a big sports fan. I try to keep up with my favorite team, the Toronto Blue Jays, even if they're garbage. During football season I root for the Green Bay Packers. Yes, I own a foam cheesehead. And if the World Cup is on TV, don't bother me. I love watching soccer.Q: Do you play anything, mister sports fan?A: I like bowling. My high game is 274.Q: Anything else you want to share?A: I have two great companions, my cats. I have had Kitty Meow Meow, my 16-pound tuxedo cat, for almost six years. My newest addition, Little Baby, was wandering around my neighborhood this summer. After an attempt to find her owners failed, I decided she needed to stay with me and Kitty. The two of them are now good friends.
