       I grew up in Henry County and graduated from Eagle's Landing High School.  I attended Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia where I received a degree in Early Childhood Education.  I have also obtained my Masters Degree in Elementary Reading and Math from Walden University.
     
      I've wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl and am excited to have a classroom of my own.  This will be my 14th year teaching at HES.  I have taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and now EIP. 
    I was also awarded teacher of the year for Hampton Elementary School for the
    2010-2011 school year.
