• Henry County Schools operates an Alternative to Suspension (ATS) program for middle and high school students (6th-12th grades). 

    This is a voluntary program that is housed at EXCEL Academy as an option for students serving Out-of-School Suspension (OSS) between 1 and 10 days. In the ATS program, students will participate in an intervention process that addresses areas of concern and reason for placement. The intervention sessions will utilize an engaged approach to facilitate best practices to emphasize social skills that can be implemented when they return to their school, at home and within the community.
