Mrs. Kimberly Mixon

Greetings Jaguars!                                

I am Kimberly Mixon and it is a pleasure to serve as your Athletic Director.  This school year marks my 22nd year of teaching and coaching, and my 6^th year at ARMS.  I have coached girls’ basketball and volleyball at the middle school level, as well as Varsity volleyball.  Interscholastic athletics is a significant part of the total educational experience.  They offer the opportunity for students to be a part of a team, to serve their school, and to develop intellectually, physically and emotionally.  Athletes in our program will be provided positive experiences that will help them develop in areas of commitment, responsibility and loyalty.  Responsibility is a core trait within our department and we all play a part in ensuring that every stakeholder accepts their role. 

Our goal is to have an outstanding athletics program known for student-athletes that display excellent sportsmanship while academically achieving and competing to the best of their abilities. Our athletic department is here to serve our student-athletes by building their confidence and maximizing their potential and developing skills of resilience, perseverance, confidence and commitment.

We hope your student will take full advantage of this opportunity to participate in athletics at ARMS while receiving a top-notch education. After all, our athletes are students first.  I encourage students and parents to reach out to me with any questions about our athletics program and how to get involved.
