    General Information

    • More than five (5) days of unexcused absences is considered truant
    • If absent for three (3) or more consecutive days, student must have a doctor’s note (students should bring in a note justifying their absence each time they are out)
    • Up to five (5) absences will be excused per semester with a parent note
    • Ten (10) consecutive days absent from school will lead to a withdrawal status (email Mrs. Robyn Williams or Mrs. Anita Williams in the counseling department)

    -          1st letter goes home after three (3) unexcused absences (meet with student; contact parents)

    -          2nd  letter goes home after five (5) unexcused absences (Attendance contract)

    -          3rd letter goes home after ten (10) unexcused absences (possible Truancy Intervention Meeting)
