I am looking forward to another great year at Timber Ridge! This will be my 25th year teaching and 13th as a Titan.
I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and completed my Master's degree in Special Education from the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks). At the University of South Carolina, I was awarded Student Teacher of the Year for the state!
My previous schools were Morrow Elementary in Clayton County and Stockbridge Elementary here in Henry County.
My wife, Nicci, is an English teacher at Locust Grove High School. We will be celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary in October! I have two daughters, Josie and Margot. Josie is a junior at the University of Georgia and Margot is a freshman at Birmingham Southern College.
Our family has a pug named Otie, a silky named Rocket, and a cat named Brie. I see a lot of parents and students around town because I am very involved in the community with my family. You can find me at McDonough Presbyterian Church where I was a Deacon and, if I'm not running in my neighborhood, you can find me at Gold's Gym taking classes because I enjoy exercising. Our family loves to travel. This past summer Nicci and I took the girls to Sedona, Arizona and the Grand Canyon.
I enjoy working at Timber Ridge Elementary. TRE teachers and students are the best!
