• Welcome!

     I am excited to be teaching at the Academy for Advanced Studies. I am even more excited to be teaching future teachers! 

    A little about myself, I have taught in the Henry County School System for seven years. Previously before that, I had the pleasure of teaching at Southern Crescent for six and a half years. There I taught GED classes and advised students on postsecondary options. I have also taught in the prison system. So, while teaching Teaching as a Profession, I will be able to give you so many experiences from my teaching background.

    You all are a very special group of associates because you have decided to explore education. I promise as an educator you will get rewarding benefits as well as face some challenges, but you are smart enough to handle it. Teachers are a gift.
