    About Mrs. Edwards:
     
     I attended and graduated from Mt. Vernon  Christian School in  Stockbridge in 1988.  I attended and graduated from Mercer University  with a degree in Early Childhood Education.  I  obtained my  Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in Reading from Mercer University. 
     
    My husband, David and I  live in Henry County with our two children, Luke and Abby and our dogs Liberty , Pepper and Bentley.  I have attended Glen Haven Baptist Church for 51 years,  where I am involved with our Middle and High School department.  My oldest child was diagnosed   August 2009 with Type 1 Diabetes.  We have since then become involved with JDRF and Camp Kudzu. My husband and son also have a condition known as PKD.  We are involved with the PKD foundation for a cure.  My husband had a kidney transplant in December 2012.  I feel that God has a plan for our lives and will use our trials for His glory.  I believe there is nothing better in life than watching a child learn and reach their fullest potential!
